A couple of threads have rolled by lately describing shop jigs (rim sander & purfling ledge router jig) that use big lazy susans. For the cats pajamas in susan bearnigs check out the ones used in high end TV lift/swivel units like the Auton units. The susan alone isn't descibed on their site, but you west coasters can get them at MacMurray Pacific ,catalog page 1544. They call them "Aluminum TV Swivel with ballbearings". For suppliers in other parts of the country and world, contact Auton for an outlet near you... These things aren't cheap, but they're smooth as silk, and have no play in them at all. -C |
